So this is my story:  I have lived all my life with another dog called Sandy.  My original owner rescued me when I was a puppy along with Sunny and Sandy (Sunny San Diego!!)  However my owner was killed while serving in the military several years ago.  I have lived with my owners family but they are no longer able to take care of us so the wonderful people of Lightshine Canine Rescue and Mending Spirits Animal Rescue have come to our rescue.  It would be really nice if I could stay with Sandy but I think I would be ok if you have another dog that I could become friends with and spend the balance of my life with.  I may not be a puppy but I still have alot of love to give and I still have alot of good times left in me.  Give me a chance and I will reward you with lots of love.     Diego
