Observations with Dogs & Cats:  Bella H. can be picky about her doggy playmates - sometimes it's love at first sight, and other times it's a no-go.  That's why we always ask that you schedule a meet and greet so that your pup or pups can meet ours!

Additional Information:  Sibling rivalry is very common in dogs, regardless of whether they are littermates or not.  Common instigating factors in altercations between siblings include toys, treats, or even competition for attention.  And the dynamics between two dogs of the same sex can sometimes be more difficult to work out than between two dogs of the opposite sex.  4.5 year old Bella H. and her sister Leona were the perfect example of two really sweet sisters who just couldn't seem to get along.  Even a dropped piece of food could start a squabble between the two!  It may be that their personalities were just too different.  Leona was the bigger, bolder, and more self-assured of the two.  Bella H. here is considerably smaller, timid, and more insecure.  Now that Bella and Leona are separate, it is plain to see that they are both individually very loving, loyal, smart, and obedient dogs!  It is very well possible that Bella could be incorporated into a family with another dog.  Just like with people, it's all about chemistry!  If you're looking for a quiet, gentle dog that deserves a chance at a better situation, Bella H. is your girl!  Spayed/Neutered.  Current on vaccinations.
