Hi! My name is Banks. I’m 1 year old, and I weigh a whopping 8 1/2 lbs. My foster mom is helping me eat plenty and eat healthy so that I can gain a pound or so to reach my ideal weight of around 10 lbs. I’m a happy little boy, who loves other dogs and even all three of my feline foster siblings. I might be a little shy around you at first, but if you’re patient and calm, I’ll be sharing hugs and kisses before you know it. Although I have the playful energy of a typical 1-year-old pup, young children with their excitement and energy tend to scare me, so I hope your family has adults and older children only. In fact, I would be perfectly content to be part of a quiet household and snuggle in your lap much of the time.
