Hi, my name is PHOENIX, and I’d like to tell you a little bit about myself.  I’m around 5 years old, small to medium at about 20 lbs, and look to be mostly Jack Russell Terrier (but being a “blend,” I can’t say for sure what I am).  I love walks, car rides, and being close to my favorite person(s).   I like people generally, but Foster Mom says that I’m more of a Ladies’ Man.  I must admit that she is right – it does take me longer to warm up to men (and I was leery of my veterinarian at first, too).  I’m not so sure about kids either.  My experiences with younger ones haven’t been so good, but older kids have been okay when they were respectful of me.  I get along well with both dogs and cats.  I am crate-trained, but Foster Mom doesn’t make me stay in one because I have such good house manners (although there might be an accident or two while I am getting used to my forever home).  In fact, I’m allowed to snuggle with her at night – usually under the covers.  Are you the one to give me snuggles and walks and car rides?  Let’s find out!
