Hi, my name is Cooper. I'm a 6-year-old 23-lb. love bug, and I'm looking for someone like you to love. I'll follow you everywhere, snuggle with you, and ask you to play with me. My three favorite things in the world are being with people, running, and playing with squeaky toys. I'm full of energy and would enjoy romping with another dog or kids, if you have them. I would also make a great companion for cycling or backpacking on trails. Let's not bike or hike too close to busy roads, however, because big cars zooming past can be scary. I'm trying to get used to them, but for now, I'd rather not walk or even live near a noisy road. In fact, I would be happiest in a home in a quiet neighborhood-- a home with a fenced yard and a dog door, where I could go in and out on my own. (Speaking of quiet, I won't annoy our neighbors with barking.) And while I'm wary of cars zipping by, being inside a car is as easy as chowing down on a dog treat. I love car rides and will usually sleep during trips. I'm almost a master at house-training, only having a couple of indoor accidents when everything was new and I was nervous. I come when I'm called, and I'm good in a crate, though I prefer being loose in the house. However, you'll want to keep an eye on me because I do like to shred paper and steal clothes that are lying on the floor. Just tell me no. I'll listen and try to remember the next time. I'll even like your cats, as long as they don't scare me with that hissy sound they can make. I do so want to be your loyal, good Rat Terrier. I hope you'll give me that chance. What do you say?
