Meet Harley, a 5-month-old mix of Rat Terrier, Chihuahua, and possibly something else just as cute! Harley weighs almost 8 lbs. and is quickly working towards his estimated full-grown weight of 10 lbs. He may be small, but his personality is huge! Harley goes nonstop during the day, taking only short naps in his favorite beanbag bed between his self-entertaining playtimes, outside adventures, and romping/wrestling with his three foster siblings. From day one, Harley has demonstrated that his smarts are beyond his age. Immediately he learned the doggy door and the personalities of each of his three foster siblings. He knows which pup to wrestle with, which one to run with, and which one to sometimes ignore (the 7-year-old one). Harley is basically house-trained with the help of the other pups showing him the way and with daytime access to the doggy door, which he loves to run in and out of to explore the outdoors. A fenced yard, by the way, is high on this little guy's wish list, but he's a great walking buddy too--always ready to go at your pace. He walks two miles and enjoys every minute of it!  At night Harley sleeps in his crate for up to eight hours without a peep. Then it's outside to potty and back in bed with his foster parents and the other dogs for a little cuddling and play.
