Is she a Terretriever? Or possibly a Labrarat? (Not to be confused with a lab rat, of course.) The shelter called her a Rat Terrier mix, but once in New Rattitude's care, Britany grew so quickly that we started to wonder. Now 3 months old, Britany weighs a whopping 17 lbs., and she could weigh as much as 38 to 40 lbs. when she's fully grown. Whatever her ancestry might be, Britany's one of the prettiest and most playful pups you'll ever meet. She goes crazy for her toys--especially the squeaky ones. One of her favorite activities is gathering up all her toys and taking them to her crate, a place she considers her safe haven, a wonderful spot for naps with her littermate, and a comfy "bedroom," where the two pups sleep soundly through the night. She also loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home; in fact, she's ready to play with everybody she meets, both human and canine. And while she hasn't yet met any cats, she would probably include them in her circle of friends as long as they were the sort to tolerate a good game of chase. Since Britany's just a puppy, she's still working on her house-training, but with frequent opportunities to go outside, she rarely has an accident. She's a good car passenger, too, with just a bit of short-lived protest from her seat in the crate. If you check out Britany's pics in her online album at http://imageevent.com/newrattitude/brittany, maybe you can think of a nifty designer name for Britany's special brand of energetic sweetness. But honestly the only kind of dog Britany cares to be is yours.
