Meet Mercury! This 2-year-old light grey tabby was found wandering down the side of a back road last summer. A few days after Mercury arrived at the HSKC, he started acting out. Mercury did not enjoy living in a tiny kennel. He began lashing out at staff members and other adoptable cats. 

Suddenly, this young grey tabby started to act like the sweet kitty he appeared to be. Mercury is now living in a bigger kennel in our cat adoption room and is finally content. These days Mercury is a fun loving guy who spends his time interacting with our staff members and volunteers. 

Mercury has quite the personality and can be pretty chatty at times. He is always happy to see people and he seems to get satisfaction out of putting a smile on your face! Mercury loves to mingle with the other cats and enjoys sunbathing in our outdoor cattery. He can usually be found peeking into our lobby through the window in our cat adoption room. Mercury is always interested in what everyone else is doing! 

Mercury would prefer a home with adult companions but would enjoy being with other kitties. Unlike some cats, Mercury is not frightened by dogs and could do fine living with one. He is litter box trained, neutered, and current on all vaccinations.
