Ava is an affectionate dog who is pleasant to have around. She is building her confidence and melts while she is being pet and snuggled. Her love is one that is earned and that she holds at a great value, it is very special to her. Please take no offense that a few moments may be needed for her to welcome new folks into her circle. She is a wise soul and has lived in this world.  

She has simple needs and would rather snuggle than mingle with toys. She's a Netflix and chill kinda lady. Don't mistake her for being a dull one by any means... even though she is a snuggler, she's both observant sharp. She will honor her loved ones with an on-point alert when a stranger knocks at the door.  Although she's a homebody, she does like to be outside when it is nice out and loves to run around. Those pretty little legs and sleek curves take effort to maintain ya know. She's really awaiting sun bathing season! Oh and don't you worry about the cold and potty time.  Ava is a tidy gal and does not have any issues going potty outside.  She's smart and will go to the door to let us know when she needs a bathroom break.

Overall, Ava is a delight and carries so much wisdom. You just know those ones who have "lived" life and take it with them as they continue on their path. If she could talk and share the stories of her history, it would be an honor to know and learn what she has traveled on her journey of life.  Ava's ideal home would be one that understands that she is reserved and would thrive in a more quiet type of environment with perhaps another dog to connect with too.

I am here looking for a quiet home and forever family to love, honor and bond with.
