Diva is an affectionate cat who likes human company and is grateful to have escaped a high kill shelter in New Mexico. Diva doesn't love being held, but she wants to be wherever you are, and she shows her affection by doing head rolls at your feet,  rubs against your legs, purrs and makes air biscuits. She is declawed and as a result has a tendency to gently bite if you try and pet her if she sees your hand coming, but she's learning to change this habit. She will jump up on the couch and lay next to her human, enjoying gentle pets. She's very quiet, not vocal at all, and LOVES to play. She could play 24/7. But she's also super mellow, and will lay down and chill. She would do best in a home without kids or dogs, but would likely get along with another cat after a slow integration. Please consider giving this sweet girl a home! Her adoption fee is $75 and she's fostered in Denver.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)
• $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)
• $150 for kittens (6 months & under)   
• $75 for cats (older than 6 months)   
• $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)
