HONEY is a wonderful, energetic and affectionate orange tabby, whose also smart and beautiful. He loves people and is good with children, but is also very independent and loves to go out and explore. However he comes running from wherever he's exploring outside when you call him to come. Honey is great for a busier family as he can amuse himself, but also likes to come and get fusses when you finally settle down to give him fusses. Despite being a male he seems to get on well with other cats. He will make an excellent inside/outside pet because he enjoys both things so much, and in return you will be honored with a very special kitty to join your family :)

Honey came to us to be fixed and was then released to our care when his original owner could no longer care for him. 

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
