Arial is a two year old deaf Australian Shepherd mix. As you can see from her pictures, she's also ridiculously cute, and she's a beautiful and unique-looking adult dog.
Her momma was picked up on a country road in Northern California. She was very pregnant, and the wonderful people that found her made sure they had a safe place to be born, raised and weaned by their momma. Three of the litter were deaf. Arial arrived at our rescue with littermates Kristoff and Aurora.
Arial is perpetually happy, smart and full of positive energy. We do include some training with our adoptions for local adopters, but she will need basic obedience training and socialization. She is good with other dogs, and we're not sure about cats. She will need to be included as a member of the family!
If you would like to meet this adorable and sweet girl, please complete our online adoption application: www.deafdogrescueofamerica.org/adoption-application.html
Please note that we are unable to respond to inquiries, emails or phone calls. Our adoption process starts with completion/submission of an application for adoption. All applications are reviewed as quickly as we can, and our adoption process is not first come, first served. We select our adoptive homes according to what our dogs/puppies require. If you are selected as an appropriate match, you will be contacted to set an appointment to visit the Ranch and meet Arial.
