I am Jilly, a chocolate lab mix. I am a sweet soul. A true rags to riches girl. I was petrified for many many months. But I've learned to trust again. I even greet new people in my territory and love going to Camp Bow Wow. Although kids that are loud make me nervous. I am goofy and play readily. I do have a fear of unknown humans, but I've gained confidence enough to check with my handler to know its ok. It takes me a lot of time to trust. But I want to so badly. I desire your company very much even if at first I seem afraid. I will need more time than usual to adjust to my new home and feel comfortable. Once I do, the loving is on!!! I am very dedicated to my human and show lots of play and affection. I do best with other non small dogs in my home. They bring me a sense of comfort and trusted leadership. The more the merrier. I do chase cats but when my foster mommy says no, I listen very well and obey what she says. I am house and kennel trained. I truly need an indoor kennel to feel secure. So please get me one. As a plus, I barely ever bark. I am not needy either. I am happy just being in your presence. My favorite things are my kiddie pool, and being foster mom's mowing partner. I follow her as she goes up and dow and all around. And I know how to stay out of the way or watch her signal to move. I am also great off leash once our trust is established together and I am no longer afraid. I will seek your approval for all things.
