EMMA is a beautiful young female cat with a very friendly and calm personality, and the most vivid green eyes. We named her EMMA, short for Emerald, but that's a good name too :) We'd say she is under 2 years old, and maybe a first time mom when she was found on the streets of Culpeper with her three tiny kittens!  She definitely needed a better place to be, and she definitely deserves a forever home too, as she would be a great companion or addition to any family.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation. On average, we spend about $125 to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption, which includes testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, vet care, medicine and spay/neuter (if old enough). We set a minimum donation at $50 and just ask adopters to cover as much of the $125 as they can afford. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more of our cats.
It is also important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and intend to give them a home for life.
