Colbie has had about 10 or 11 years to perfect her very ladylike behavior. If you're familiar with the legendary lifespan of the Rat Terrier, then you'll know that she likely has many more years to beguile you with her charming ways. Just 10 lbs., super sweet Colbie will ask for little but a nice, quiet place to lie in the sun. Colbie is well behaved with the visiting children in her foster home, and she will be fine around dog-savvy children, who understand how to be around dogs. She's also good with other dogs, big and small, and doesn't seem too interested in the foster home cats. Colbie is crate trained and house-trained. She sleeps on her dog bed overnight without any issues. She walks well on a leash, rides well in a car, and doesn't seem to bark much at all.
