Eva is a sweet spunky, loving and eager to please high energy 20 month old gal. She is one special girl that loves everyone and gets along with other dogs (no small dogs, as she can get a bit rough playing) as well as cats. She loves to go for walks and hikes and be outside playing. She is a squirrel hunter, but then again what dog is not…lol Eva knows her basic commands and is always up for a challenge to learn new tricks. She loves to cuddle and lay with you every chance she is asked or given okay to do so. Eva is kennel trained and has no issues being asked to go to kennel when asked as well and likes to have a place to call her own for downtime when not in her kennel.

Eva spent 5 weeks at a training facility to help her overcome some insecurity issues that were noticed by her foster mom shortly after receiving Eva in her home, and issues have been resolved and Eva is a much happier girl now. Eva is still working on her opportunist behavior to walk out doors or gates without consent, and again doing great with correction of this behavior and almost has it down pack to sit and wait for command. The ideal home for Eva would be an active family that would take her to parks and on walks at least 3-5 days a week to keep her calm and active. A home with a decent size yard would be prefer with a 6 foot fence around as she does have some reactive behaviors towards other dogs on other side till she gets to know them. Eva has not been observed or seen attempting to jump any fences. In fact she is sometimes stubborn to jump in and out of car without a little push up, but loves going for rides in car… Eva does well with children ages 10 and up and loves to smoother kids with kisses.

Eva is spayed and up to date on all immunizations as well as heart worm negative.
