DOLLY is a friendly and easy going cat who came to us as a stray with her four kittens over a year ago. Since then all her babies found homes, and she has shown us what sweet and good girl she is, friendly to other cats, dogs and people. Dolly would be a super pet and mouser, or a companion for another cat. We think she is around 2 or 3 years old, and she’s healthy and happy. DOLLY loves a little outside time and she stays close by but enjoys exploring and playing. She even climbs the biggest tree at her foster home, about 25 feet straight up! Fortunately she managed to come back down on her own, unlike the many cats before her who had to be rescued with a huge ladder!

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats’ Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
