ROWDY is not at all rowdy, although he was a bit of a nut as a kitten :)  Now that he's almost a year old, he's a very mature teenager!  He still loves to run and play, but is also a sweet purring machine who loves attention. We think he would be happiest as an inside pet with outside play time, because he is just so alive and excited when running around outside, and is full of energy. Rowdy is good with other cats and would make a good playmate or companion for another cat. He's been fostered with other cats of different ages and has never had a problem with any of them. He is gentle and just a little shy still until he gets to know you, but is by no means unfriendly or timid. We love little Rowdy and hope he finds a home soon. He has been with us since he was a kitten so has been socialized since young. 

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation. On average, we spend about $125 to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption, which includes testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, vet care, medicine and spay/neuter (if old enough). We set a minimum donation at $50 and just ask adopters to cover as much of the $125 as they can afford. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more of our cats. It is also important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and intend to give them a home for life.
