Pearl is a sweet little cuddle-buddy who is ready for adoption!  Pearl came to CCR from a small shelter in Rocky Ford, CO, with no known previous history.  We are guessing that she is a Chihuahua mix and is about 10 weeks old.  We are also guessing that she will be a small dog as an adult.

Pearl loves all people and dogs, both small and large. She does well with children.  She is a lower energy girl who loves to play with other dogs and toys, but then looks for her person to cuddle on their lap for belly rubs.  She is learning to walk on a leash and will enjoy frequent walks, but doesn’t have high exercise needs.  She sleeps through the night in her x-pen and is starting to learn potty training with lots of guidance.

Pearl will do well in many forever homes, as long as they are willing to give her puppy socialization and lots of belly rubs with love!  She should fine with or without another doggie in the home (but will need doggie play dates for socialization and fun!).  We did not spay her because she is so young and small, but a spay voucher is available at adoption.

If you are interested in adopting Pearl please submit an adoption application located on our website, www.coloradocaninerescue.org. We are asking for a $290.00 adoption donation for Pearl  as well as $50 for the spay/neuter deposit that will be returned when CCR receives confirmation that she has been spayed. The spay/neuter must be done within 90 days of adoption. .  Please note, CCR cannot guarantee the breed composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the shelter.   Please note that even house trained dogs will have accidents when adjusting to a new home.
