This is Izzy Grace, a petite 11-year-old Rat Terrier weighing 8 lb. Miss Izzy lived most of her life as a breeder dog, kept in a crate in a dimly lit room. Now that she is in foster care, she is discovering how wonderful life can be. Izzy G. is still very shy, but she loves having her head gently massaged, and when her foster mom holds her, Izzy settles in, falls asleep, and starts snoring. She continues to improve on her house-training, and every day she gains confidence to try something new. While she also continues to make progress on leash walks, Izzy would do best in a home with a fenced yard. Izzy gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home, rides nicely in the car, and is a healthy little dog.  Precious Izzy Grace is looking for a forever family with a quiet house and humans who will be patient with her as she continues learning about being a cherished family pet.  For more photos of Izzy Grace, please visit
