From the Foster Family: 
Abby loves long walks and short runs.  When walking Abby is very good at following with her leash and accepting quick correction when she gets ahead of her companion.  Abby has some interest in playing fetch, however she prefers to play tug-o-war.  After a long walk Abby is very comfortable relaxing on the floor or laying on a blanket.  She is currently learning basic manners and commands:  sit (consistent), stay, stop, no (learning), and down (new).  When we come home from work or appointments Abby is very excited to see us and needs 10-15 seconds to greet us with kisses.  She tends to jump at this point and we work on teaching her to sit, however she is very much a puppy still and everything is new for her.  Abby senses the world with her mouth and is very treat motivated for learning.  She also enjoys a good collection of chew toys or a hefty stick.  If you don't have a stick she will pick one up on her walk and strut around with her new find.  As for grooming Abby enjoys the occasional brushing, however she doesn't seem to shed much.  We are also starting to work with a dental brush to maintain her teeth.  Abby has been a joy to work with and will be wonderful for someone that has room for a large, strong, and loving dog!
