Taffy toned Dobby is 12 pounds of sweetness who loves sitting on his foster mom’s lap and following her through the house like a devoted doggy shadow. Skittish when meeting new people, once he’s comfortable with them, he’s very affectionate in his own way. Quiet and mellow, he spends much of his time curled up in his comfy bed or kennel, and while he’s not interested in toys, he loves going outside and on walks. Well mannered and trustworthy when left alone, he knows "sit" and "stay", and is leash and housetrained. Fonder of women than men, Dobby will do best as the only dog in a tranquil, adult-only home with a fenced yard and adopters who will patiently nurture him, bolster his confidence and love him fur-ever.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!
