My name is Crash. I'm a Terrier mix, who's around 3 years old and about 15 lbs. I wound up in a shelter with a leg that healed in an odd way after it had been broken. Today I have a metal plate inside my leg that helps me walk (and look) look like a normal dog. While there's a tiny chance that it may need further attention someday and I'll need to be careful with it, right now it helps me run like the wind. That's something I love to do in the big fenced yard of my foster home, and it's something I hope I'll get to do with you...in my forever home. Maybe because of my tough start in life, I grew up to be a gentle, sensitive boy. I can get scared by yelling or loud noises, so I hope your home is quiet and doesn't have little kids. Honestly, I can be pretty scared about most anything, but once I know I can trust you, you'll be my rock and I'll have lots of kisses for you. In fact, I hope you'll be home with me most of the time because I don’t like to be left alone and it makes me cry. I do love other dogs after I get to know them, especially if they are my size. Car rides and walks on a leash are OK, but let's not venture too far from home. I enjoy routines like regular times for treats and meals; I love to eat. I'm pretty good about letting my foster parents know when I need to go out, but if I get scared, I may make a mistake. In the evening, it's nice to curl up on the sofa next to my foster parents. At bedtime, I sleep in a crate, but if you'd like me to sleep in bed with you, I'd be happy to join you. Basically I'm just a super sweet guy, who can't imagine anything finer than crashin' at your place for the rest of his life.
