Pretty in pink in all of her poses, charismatic Cricket is living the good life and loving it! The 38-pound black and white beauty, rescued from an abusive situation, is now safe and secure in the warmth of her foster home. Although still slightly shy, she’s undeniably sweet, easygoing and calm, and gets along well with the adults, children and other dogs. She especially likes being petted and giving kisses, and loves sitting at her fosters’ feet, gaily wagging her tail as they soothingly "sweet talk" her. A great fan of treats, bones and toys, especially squeaky ones, she’s also fond of chasing balls and sticks, and playing games of tug-o-war. Highly intelligent and quick to learn, she knows "come" and "sit", rides well in the car, and is house but not leash or crate trained. Now what this charmer needs to fully bloom is a patient and loving home to continue her doggy education and ensure she’s kept mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!

Adoption fee is $250 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.
