GUS is such a happy and fun loving kitten, you can't not love him because he is a goofy, happy-go-lucky guy and cute as can be. We call him a FLOPPYCAT because he'll just lay there in your arms while you cuddle and sweet talk him, and he's the type of cat that goes into floppy adorable positions when napping, or entering a kitty coma as he seems to!  He has always been healthy and active, with no upper respiratory, eye gunk or anything, but ironically he's the one that tested FiV positive. We hope this doesn't prevent him from getting a wonderful home, because he would be joy to have, and he gets along with other kitties and most likely dogs. He's confident and soft as can be. There is link below with more information on FiV cats, but it is only spread through a deep bite wound and is usually  something the cats don't actually get sick from, they just happen to carry it. As Gus is so healthy we hope that would be the case for him.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
