My name is Ginger.  Today is turning out to be a great day.  It seems like I am making a little progress each day, and I know that one day I'll have a family to call my own.  It almost doesn't seem possible since I started my life as part of a hoarding case.  I wasn't sure if those dark days were ever going to end.  Four years is a long time to be neglected and surround by so many other dogs but not really socialize with any of them.  We were all too sad to play together and we had no idea if help was ever going to come.

Some dogs in this situation end up being very angry or naughty.  It left some of them without any manners.  Others it didn't affect at all.  Me, well it left me very shy and a little unsure of new people.  I would never hurt a fly, but I just don't feel comfortable running up to people I don't know.  Not yet anyway, but I'm making progress.  I know there's someone out there that wants to help me feel more secure and forget about my past.  I promise that person will not regret taking a chance on me.
