Meet Jetty! Jetty is a 6 year-old, 9-lb handsome little chihuahua. He is sweet, calm and affectionate; he likes people and makes friends fast. (Though he just got over an ear infection and would rather not have his ears tugged or played with.)  He has an athletic build and absolutely LOVES to go on walks. He plays with squeaky toys and will chase them. When not outside or playing, he enjoys sitting on laps or quietly in his bed. Jetty does enjoy sleeping in bed with his people, under the covers and right next to you, He loves your body heat!   He doesn't seem super tolerant of kids, so we're thinking a family with kids are not be the best fit for him (he's growly with them). Jetty is ok with kitty's that are very dog confident. if they tend to run & hid, he will chase, if they sit tall and swat he is respectful of them.

Jetty has worked with a trainer and we learned he had been abused. He needs a person that is going to be his stern leader and guide him in his new life. He will need a patient and confident person to love him unconditionally. He has learned some bad habits from being abused and is learning to not get nippy with people that are trying to be friends with him. He is Liver treat motivated and will do almost anything for them. He is learning he can start to trust people again. Jetty gets CBD oil on an as needed bases for arthritis in his spine and to help him to relax and not be nervous & unsure. Jetty is patiently waiting for his FURever home!  Jetty’s adoption fee is $250.
