Having completed her exercise routine, 2.5 year-old Carrie is ready for some petting and brushing. Not only does this sweet and affectionate kitty adore human attention, she enjoys naps in the sun on a shelf or atop a scratching post, does well with adult cats, and tolerates dogs. Despite losing most of her teeth due to neglect, this onetime stray from the streets of New Mexico relishes wet food as much as the prospect of finding love in an attentive fur-ever home.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)
• $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)
• $150 for kittens (6 months & under)   
• $75 for cats (older than 6 months)   
• $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)
