Hi everybody!  My name is Franklin but you can call me Frankie.  My foster mom can’t figure out why I haven’t been snatched up right away!   I am about four years old, and I’m a tall boy who weighs about 32 pounds    The first thing that my foster mom  noticed about me is how soft my pretty dark brown fur is.  She says I am as soft as a stuffed teddy bear.  When I met my foster, I gave her so many kisses that she almost couldn’t breathe! I’m a pretty reserved guy most of the time but I do love to play with toys and roughhouse with my foster brother and sister.  I am so excellent on a leash that you’ll think I’m taking you for a walk.  I am also very good in the car, I just chill out and relax, while I enjoy the ride.  I already knew how to sit when I got here but my foster mom is trying to teach me how to shake paws.  I wait patiently for my treats and I sleep wrapped up in a little ball next to my foster mom.  I do like to mark  the corners of my yard, to claim my space, but I have not marked in the house…not one time, even though my foster brother does.  In the evenings, I like to chill on the couch beside my foster mom or on the ottoman.  While my foster mom is at work, she keeps me in a room by myself because she was told that I’m a digger and should not have access to a doggie door unattended.  She has not observed that behavior but she wants to keep me safe since she has a dog door. I can hold my potty all day until she gets home.... I am a really good boy! I do have a tic.  My foster mom was told that it’s called “fly biting syndrome”  and it makes me sometimes snap around in the air like I’m trying to catch a fly.  Most of the time it happens in the evening and it really looks like I see something in the air around my head, not a scary event at all.  I previously was treated with CBD oil before I got here, and my former family said it seemed to help. But I’ve been off of it for weeks and my foster only recently put me back on it to see if it makes it better. My foster aunt has a 4 year old human boy that I let chase me around their big yard and I don’t mind him at all.  I’m good with other dogs too but I sometimes bark really loud in their face when I want to play...what can I say? I am a happy and energetic guy who wants to play with my friends.  I rarely bark any other time.  I really am a sweet, chill boy and I know someone out there is waiting for me!

    Franklins adoption fee is $350
