You need to bring home the Bacon, and we're not talking about pork or money. The Bacon we refer to is a 20-lb. low-ridin', long-bodied Rat Terrier mix, who may have a touch of Dachshund DNA. Only about 1 1/2 years old, Bacon has clearly had some positive experiences with humans because she loves snuggling up with people on the sofa and the bed. She is also a calm, well-mannered girl, who doesn't tend to bark much and hasn't had a single potty accident in her foster home. Although she is not fond of a crate, she will go into one, but she is quite trustworthy being left loose and shows no interest in chewing on household items. Bacon also gets along with other dogs, but with a touch of bossiness about her, she'd likely do best with dogs that don't have a similar inclination.
