This beautiful ball of fluff is Benny. Between 2 1/2 and 3 years old, Benny is as playful and energetic as you'd expect, but this Rat Terrier mix is also calm enough for cuddling. His favorite game is tug. Second favorite activity? Getting his belly rubbed! And at just 8 lbs, Benny is the perfect size for your lap. He gets along great with the three other small dogs in his foster home but is a bit wary of larger dogs. Given some time, he would probably be fine with an easygoing bigger dog. Benny will chase and growl at cats who hiss or in any way antagonize him, but he just ignores the calm ones. Fortunately the cats in his foster home are very dog savvy, and Benny thinks they're just fine! Benny is house-trained with a regular schedule. While he isn't a huge fan of his crate, he does sleep quietly in it at night and when left alone during the day from time to time.  And although he isn't a big barker, he'll let you know when someone is entering or leaving the house. Benny is looking for his very own person to love, someone who'll give him the exercise, interaction, and snuggles he needs to make his life complete. Benny believes his person might be reading this right now, and we're betting he's spot-on!
