Boots is the type of boy that will steal your heart the second you lay eyes on him. Approximately 5 months old and almost 8 lbs., this sweet and snuggly Rat Terrier basically loves everyone and everything. He loves treats, plopping down on your lap for a nap, and playing with the other pups in his foster home. His new home should have at least one other canine playmate because he gains confidence from being around other dogs. He has met children around the age of 10, and they got along famously, so he'd likely not object to having some  kids of that age or older as playmates either. Boots is a smart boy and learns the ropes quickly! He is already crate trained and walks well on a leash. He's also mostly house-trained, but even so, he's going to need someone to be home midday to let him go out to potty. At his young age, he doesn't have the bladder capacity to make it through a typical workday schedule. With his gentle eyes and loving heart, Boots is going to make an incredible family dog.
