Meet marvelous mirror images, Honeybell and Kady. Never out of each other’s sight, these soft, sweet, bonded sisters thrive on their foster mom’s attention, love the resident dog, and get along with the other cats. Honeybell hums with happiness once she’s at ease in her environment, and no room remains empty for long once it’s filled with the sounds of her contented purrs. What adds to her elfin appeal is her slightly squished right ear -- that ear drops and the occasional cleaning keep happy and healthy. Kady, fondly known as the pompom slayer, stalks pompoms, pounces, then lays her "prizes" at her foster mom’s feet. She’s also a chatty kitty, chirping and cooing contentedly especially when her belly’s being rubbed. While she takes two pills a day to control triaditis (a concurrent inflammation of the liver, pancreas and small intestines) and requires basic blood work several times a year to monitor her liver values, she’s expected to live a full and vibrant life. Now all she and Honeybell need to make both of their lives even fuller is a single loving fur-ever home.

The sisters are being fostered in the Westminster area. For further information, please contact their foster mom at sdeubanks4@gmail.com.

Thanks to a grant from the Petfinder Foundation, the pair’s adoption fees have been waived.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application  here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!

Please email ARRColorado@gmail.com for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.
