BUTTERCUP is a very sweet and wonderfully loving female orange tabby, which makes her special as most are males. She lost her eye when she got a bad ulcer in it and had to have surgery, but that doesn't make her any less happy. This little female likes to get cuddles and love and gives it right back, plus she gets along well with other cats. She is looking for her forever home and an adopter who sees her as just as beautiful with one eye, as she was with two.
BUTTERCUP is a recent return through no fault of her own. Poor kitty was being picked on by a dominant female cat at her new home. BUTTERCUP wouldn’t hurt a fly, and she’s doing okay back with the other cats here, and gets on well with other kitties. She deserves a home of her own, so we are hoping to find her a second adopter or family that will be her forever home. BUTTERCUP is happy inside, or inside/outside.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats’ Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
