Kelly is a ten month old female deaf Catahoula Leopard Hound/Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix puppy. She hails from Arizona and came to the Ranch with her sister Payton and brother Augustus, who are both hearing.

Kelly is the offspring of the family dogs, and the pups were an "oops" litter. They were shelter bound due to a death in the family, so we drove to AZ to pick them up. The pups were kept on a ranch, and kenneled, so they've really not had exposure to the world. They are very sweet, though, and bond quickly.

She's a little shy, but she's sweet as pie, cute as a button, and very smart. Of the three littermates, she is the least shy, and most affectionate.

We're looking for a family that would like a new gentle family member that might require a little bit of work. Shy dogs are the most rewarding to adopt, as they bond very deeply with their owners as they learn they are safe, and that the world can be a really fun place full of wonderful adventures with their humans. Watching a shy dog unfold like a beautiful flower is an amazing experience that will forever imprint a very special relationship with your dog on your heart.
