CHARLOTTE has been with us and waiting for a new home for over a year now, and she is such an easygoing and sweet cat. At around seven years old, she is mostly into comfy beds, head rubs and treats. In the milder weather she likes to take a walk outside, and we give her love and hugs.
What she wants the most is to belong to someone and have her own home, because although she’s grown to accept a multi-cat foster home, living with the other younger cats stresses her out a bit. She would accept another cat or two, but PURhaps be happiest as a single cat. CHARLOTTE would also make a great apartment cat, and companion for a senior adopter.
She was surrendered to us when her person moved to a senior living facility, and had to choose which of her cats to take, as she could not take them all. Her owner was heartbroken to have to choose, and poor CHARLOTTE got the short straw. However we know her long straw is still out there, along with a loving new home!

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats’ Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
