Born to be someone’s best buddy, our Buddy is 52 pounds of sweetness and calmness, resting his handsome head on his foster mom’s lap for the attention and pets he adores. While initially shy in new surroundings, once he’s comfortable, his easygoing side is matched by his playful side which has him happily romping about in the yard and gladly going for walks. He gets along with the other dogs and children in his foster home, is leash, crate and housetrained, knows "sit", will sometimes "stay", and being well mannered, accepts treats gently, keeps off the furniture and seldom barks. Still tentative when it comes to loud noises, stairs and climbing into high vehicles, with a tendency to chew when he’s anxious, big-hearted Buddy will bloom in a loving home that patiently eases his fears and completes his education.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!

Adoption fee is $250 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.
