Ready set go – and Bud, with a broad grin and barely concealed excitement is off and exploring his environment. The 45-pound former stray, so new to the feeling of safety, with much still to learn, is keenly observing his world, then absorbing it, one joyous experience at a time. Naturally sweet and very cuddly, he’s highly people motivated and eager to please his fosters, following their cues and being rewarded with love, pets and praise. Not only does he adore having his belly rubbed, his idea of doggy bliss is rolling around on his back to scratch it while making the funniest noises! As active as he is affectionate, his favorite pastimes include carrying a ball around in his mouth, learning to play fetch and going to the dog park where he romps about happily with the other dogs. He knows the "come" command, he walks well on leash, is crate and housetrained, and will be the best buddy ever to a loving home committed to building his confidence and completing his education.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!

Adoption fee is $250 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.
