Kai is an incredibly handsome male German Shepherd/Akita who is intelligent, alert, protective and yet affectionate and playful. Kai walks nicely on a leash, carries himself like a police dog, and knows basic obedience skills like "sit", "stay", and "down." Kai wants nothing more than to please you and will be a lifelong, loyal companion. Like many large-breed dogs, we found that Kai does not like cats, and would probably be happiest to be your only dog although he might accept a well-mannered, spayed female dog. Kai is neutered, up to date with all of his vaccinations, and like all of our dogs in rescue, comes with free, lifetime coaching and support.
