Only Apollo knows his full history but he came to us with quite a story. He was unfortunately hit by a car. It was of course unintentional and thankfully the person involved called us right away and we were able to take him to our local veterinarian. Luckily he was not severely injured. We posted his picture but sadly no one came forward to claim him as theirs. He's a great dog and enjoys the company of female dogs (the males not so much). He loves car rides and has a blast when it's his turn to run around in the yard. He has a lot of puppy energy still and would probably do best with older children that he might not be able to knock over as easily.
Apollo was recently diagnosed with IMHA (Immune-Medicated Hemolytic Anemia), which is a blood disorder that causes his body to attack his red blood cells. It is something he will unfortunately have for the rest of his life, however the treatment is simple and easy to afford! IMHA will cause him to go through brief periods of lethargy on a whole it does not slow him down! He just needs a little more TLC from his forever family!
