Additional Information: Did you know that The Animal Care Shelter for Kent County has a celebrity in their midst? If you’ve read the newspaper recently then you probably heard her name. It’s our very own “Christmas Miracle”, the one and only Cleo!

Cleo was found atop a utility pole a few days before Christmas, and she was in quite a predicament! Our Animal Control Officer Reynolds was quickly dispatched to the scene where he assisted local volunteer firemen in rescuing this poor feline, and she has been in our care ever since! Sadly, we never found where she came from, so now she is looking for her forever home! Cleo is incredibly sweet and loving, and has an affectionate side that could melt the coldest heart! Her jet black fur with white accents has her ready for any photo opportunity, whether it is for the newspaper or your own Facebook!
