CHRIS is a wonderful guy. He's always happy and loves people and other cats, but doesn't like mean kitties, because he's just a nice guy. Chris loves going outside and also being inside and with his people. When you pick him up he purrs and will hug you back. We rescued him from being put to sleep at a shelter, because he was labeled feral, when he was just terrified.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
