GEORGIA is eager to plant her paws in a new home and blossom under an adopter's love. She is a young adult with the silvery blue coat and brilliant green eyes of the Russian Blue breed, and she also has the intelligent and playful disposition that makes Russian Blue's a perfect pet, along with their gentle and somewhat shy nature around strangers. Georgia was a stray living behind a Giant grocery store while residents in nearby townhomes fed her along with  the other strays, so she is friendly to people and other cats. Someone had already fixed and released her with an ear tip, but then she got re-trapped, and this time her trapper decided that Georgia deserved a home and would be happy to live as a pet. We stepped in to help by taking her in, and hope we can help her find her new family soon!

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
