Casanova is a nice, friendly rabbit, very much on the small side.  He is likely a  young rabbit; h e had sharp nails that may not have ever been trimmed when rescued. He is using his litter box and loves hay. Casanova is living up to his name -- such a true charmer that he befriended Helen, a lady lop, also in foster care and the two are now a bonded pair! 

Casanova was rescued from the grounds of the ilani Casino in March 2019. With help from a bus driver, a Rabbit Advocates volunteer managed to entice Casanova with some craisins. The rescue was described as "one of the quickest rescue missions ever," as Casanova was clearly ready to leave the casino life behind and try his luck elsewhere.

Initially, Casanova was thought to be female, but a trip to the vet to have "her" spayed, proved otherwise. The name change from Cassie to Casanova was necessary!
