Meet adorable Ruthie-Rosie.  Rosie is really an amazing cat! She is about 6-8 years old and was found during a routine trap/sterilize/ release exercise when she readily approached our team! She was so friendly and comfortable with human contact that the rescue thought she had to be someone’s pet! The searched the neighborhood and found a family that was feeding her. They told our rescue team that she had been left behind after a family had moved. Although they were feeding her they did not have the resources to take care of her long term. We took her to the vet and she has been spayed and has an unregistered chip.

She appears to be a British shorthair mix and has a plush coat! She is so soft she doesn’t feel like a cat, but more like a plush toy or blanket! She doesn’t shed or groom much either and appreciates a good brushing now and again.

She loves to play with toys and loves to chase the laser pointer around the house!

She is very comfortable around humans both big and small, and is okay with my small dogs!
