Sweet Sissy is a 2 -year-old 25-lb. Rat Terrier mix, who is calm and lovable. A little shy at first, once she's comfortable, she'll be more than ready to sit and snuggle with you and give you kisses. In fact, she's the kind of dog who always wants to be where her people are, relishing every little bit of attention that comes her way. That's not at all surprising since Sissy came to New Rattitude as a very thin but very dedicated mama with a litter of puppies! Now that her responsibilities as a mom are behind her, she is super excited to be the recipient of some TLC meant solely for her. Sissy gets along with the other dogs and cats in her foster home, but she really is more people-oriented and since she prefers to be the sole recipient of your attention, she should go to a home without other pets or children. Sissy is house-trained and enjoys having a backyard to come and go as she pleases. She's also crate-trained but is so trustworthy inside the house that she never really needs to be crated. While she's currently not fond of a leash, some leash training would provide her with opportunities for special bonding time by taking walks with her humans. Sissy's favorite time is at night, at bedtime to be exact, when she approaches her people with a nudge and a kiss. It's her sweet request to join you in bed, where she will snuggle close, and you'll wonder how you ever got along without her.
