We have been socializing CRISSCROSS since she came to us from a college colony, and she is doing really well. We think she would be most happy as an inside/outside pet. She has been inside since being with us, but has an outside screened area. Sometimes we see her pacing in that area, so we feel she needs to be able to get all the way outside at her new home, to run around a bit like she used to. Since she has compromised vision with her cross eyes, and is also a loving and sweet little kitty, we’d still like her to be a pet. When CRISSCROSS knows you, she lets you pick her up and cuddle, and she’s learnt to play and gets along well with the other cats too. It’s hard to tell from photos, but she is a smaller cat and will probably not get much bigger, just another thing that makes her adorable.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats’ Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.
