Stevie is a sweet, shy little guy looking for his forever home after a wild start to life. Though he's only about two years old, Stevie has lived on a rabbit meat farm, outside on a horse farm, he spent a night or so alone in the woods, and even a night in an actual jail. After all that, he's looking for a permanent home with people who will love and care for him for the rest of his life.
He enjoys getting pets, head scratches, and treats. The ultimate Pisces, he also appreciates a quiet little spot to curl up and daydream on his own. But once you've gained his trust, he can't wait to see you every morning and when you come home from work (especially if you happen to have a treat). Most days, Stevie will sit by you as long as you'll pet him.
The right person(s) for Stevie will be patient and understand that he'll need some time to get to know you before his whole personality shines through. He may adapt to other non-aggressive pets in the home if introduced carefully with supervision over time. He may also do well in homes with children who understand that he's happier being petted on his own terms than carried about. Stevie would probably enjoy the company of considerate children who would like to spend time with him down on the floor while they're reading, doing school work, or watching a movie.
