G'day, mate! I'm a Rat Terrier mix named Joey, and just like a kangaroo joey, I'm the perfect little carry-around buddy! Since I'm 4 years old, I've already learned a thing or two. I'm crate trained and doing extremely well with house-training. I get along great with just about everybody except cats. Cats were made for chasin'. But I'm nice to children (just make sure they're old enough to respect my small size), and I love playing with other dogs. Though I hope my family will have another dog, I might be OK as an only dog as long as you're home most of the time. I won't run you ragged, but I do need company. I'm a bloke with medium energy, who enjoys being with people more than playing with toys. With my nice leash manners, I would make it a pleasure for you to take long walks with me, and when you have other things to do, I'll be fine, just sitting by your side or watching you from the couch. Now, my curious streak could tempt me to go exploring, so make sure your yard is securely fenced, but otherwise, crikey, I do sound like a catch!
