Well HELLO!  My name is Cole.  I came from KY a bit ago where things weren't so great.  You see, someone out there thought it was a good idea to breed their female lab to make a couple bucks off the sale of me & my siblings.  And so I was born around 12/28/18.  It happens all the time out there, but I was RESCUED!

When I got to NJ, things were very different to say the least.  Shortly after I got here though, my foster family knew something just wasn't right.  Long story short, after visiting a Specialist I had surgery back when I was just 9wks old and now I'm all better.  I'm like a brand new dog really!  My tail, well...that's also a KY backyard breeder thing.  They docked it awfully when I was young, but it doesn't stop me from waggin' it when I'm happy!

I could use some leash training, though I'm getting the hang of it.  My fosterhome has a fenced yard, so I don't get much practice - just once a day in the evening before bedtime.  I love treat dispensing toys (they challenge me) and along with that - FOOD of any sort so I'm easy to train - I even learned sit and give paw within 5mins since there were treats involved LOL.  But I have typical puppy energy and am always ready to roll for sure.
